horal music is a refined form of community singing or 'Chorus' with a unique concept. Choral Music, today, means concerted vocal music as distinct from solo vocal composition.

        No matter how many voices sing a melody in unison, it is a ‘CHORUS’ song and not a ‘CHOIR’. Because, unlike the chorus which presents a ‘Melody’ the choir aims at the creation of ‘Harmony’. By ‘Melody’ is meant, an arrangement of single notes in a musically expressive succession. ‘Harmony’ adds a combination of simultaneous musical notes to melody to form Chords. The idea is to create a special artistic effect, a unique musical experience with added dimension to melody.
