The
Choir was formed with an aim to create among the youth a new sense of discipline and
further the cause of National and Emotional Integration - prerequisites for a strong and
healthy Nation. The very fact that all the members, irrespective of their background, sing
together in a spirit of oneness, songs in various Indian languages, springs forth a
fountain of joy - the joy of HARMONY!
The distinguishing feature of this choral group is its ability to sing a wide variety of
songs ranging from Indian Classical Music, to Semi-Classical Music like devotional songs
and Vachanas, to patriotic songs, Bhavageethes and even folk songs - thus effectively
presenting the kaleidoscopic wonder that the Indian Music is.
