mt. KAVERI SRIDHAR, herself a
musical genius, hails from a lineage of illustrious traditional Classical Musicians
to which belong such personages as the late. Veena Sheshanna of Mysore and
late. Asthana Vidwan Sri Swaramurthy
V. N. Rao, she being the great-grand daughter of the former
and daughter of the latter. Academically she is an M. A. in English along with being a
professional musician, having learnt Karnatak Classical Music from her father and
Hindustani Classical Music from Shri Sheshadri
Gawai.
